Catch the Vision
The vision of the EEL Volunteer Program is to provide local citizens with opportunities to be involved in the preservation of Brevard County’s rich biological resources. Through input by citizen volunteers, the program builds partnerships with organizations and businesses, and expands the ability to effectively manage the EEL Sanctuary Network. Citizen volunteers are an essential component to the success of the EEL Program in each of the land management regions. The long-term success of the EEL Program and Sanctuary Network is directly linked to the level of citizen support, active participation and commitment to conservation in Brevard County.
Be Actively Involved
Volunteers can find a wide assortment of opportunities in which to invest their time, interests, and skills. Whether challenging work such as exotic plant removal, or the satisfaction of leading a group of children on a nature hike, volunteer’s gifts of time and personal skills will make significant impact on the preservation of Brevard’s natural resources for today’s citizens and future generations.
